Our Story 

Malibu Glide was founded by Justin Lapinski, a fifth-generation Malibu local with deep roots along the coastline. Growing up Escondido Canyon, Justin spent his life in and around the ocean, from surfing the North Shore of Hawaii, to exploring the Malibu coasts. 

Coming from families like the Cavalleris, Deckers and Lapinski's, whose legacy helped shape Malibu, the connection to this place runs deep. That same spirit of building and contributing continues through Malibu Glide.

Started during the Malibu fires and launched this year, Malibu Glide was created with one goal: To give people the feeling of a two-week escape… in just one unforgettable hour on the water. With a focus on safety, progression, and pure experience, every session is designed to be more than a lesson it’s your moment to connect with the ocean and experience Malibu the right way.
