FAQ

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable swimwear. We recommend a swimsuit or board shorts. Wetsuits are provided if needed depending on conditions.

Where do I park?

Parking is located at Escondido Beach along Pacific Coast Highway (PCH).
Park on the right-hand side when facing east. We’ll provide exact meetup details after booking.

How long is the experience?

The full experience is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, including setup, safety briefing, and time on the water.

How long is the safety briefing?

The safety briefing is about 10 minutes and covers everything you need to know to ride confidently and safely.

Is safety equipment provided?

Yes. We provide all necessary safety gear, including:

  • Life jacket

  • Wetsuit (if needed)

  • Helmet

Do I need prior experience?

No experience is required. Our lessons are beginner-friendly, and we guide you step-by-step.

Is it safe?

Safety is our top priority. All sessions are guided, and the instructor is CPR certified and trained in ocean safety protocols. But all users are subject to drowning, injury or even death. To make this more preventable listening to your instructor is vital and could save your life. 

How many people can join?

We offer:

  • Solo sessions

  • Group sessions (up to 2 participants)

What happens if the weather is bad?

If ocean or weather conditions are unsafe, we will reschedule your session or offer an alternative.

How early should I arrive?

Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to allow time for parking and check-in.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require 48 hours notice for cancellations.
Late cancellations may be subject to a $100 fee.

Will I actually be able to ride?

Yes, most riders are able to get up and experience the glide during their first session with our guided instruction.

Can I book a Group? 

At the moment we only offer up to two riders, but are working towards scaling the business to accommodate more users. 

Are there Restrooms?

There are no restrooms so please plan accordingly. Nearest Restroom is about 4 miles away so us a public amenity before riding the foils.
